After 25 years in corporate HR it was time for me to make a change. I had become increasingly aware of the economic needs and opportunities that took children to foreign shores or distant cities as well as the growing sandwich generation, where children are not only responsible for caring for their own children but are now also having to care for their parents.
It is one thing to care for your parents when you live in the same town and have time on your hands, but when you live elsewhere, and your time is full of your own professional and parenting responsibilities eldercare frequently becomes a burden.
It is our aim at Rock for the Ages to remove this burden from you and afford you the security of knowing your parents are looked after if you are far away or freeing you up to spend quality time with your parents while we cover the mundane.
Although this idea was born before the Covid-19 pandemic, the last year has reinforced the need for greater connection and care for our elderly who may not be comfortable with many of the conveniences that technology provides, leaving them overwhelmed, confused, lonely and isolated.
As everyone is unique with different and changing needs and requirements, we offer a choice of standard or bespoke packages to meet your needs. These services are provided by our network of vetted professional associates where safety, security, love, care and concern are our key priorities.
Our services do not include full-time care or nursing services, but we can refer you to reputable providers who are equipped in this area.
